My name is Hadley Kleinschmidt, and I am a licensed therapist specializing in somatic therapy with a trauma-informed lens. With over 7 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families, I help clients deal with a range of issues, including anger, grief, life transitions, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and low self-esteem.
My work is rooted in psychodynamic theory, which means that I believe our life experiences and the systems around us – whether it's family, school, work, or the broader community – shape us and influence how we move in the world. Through my work, I have found that individuals often have the answers they need, but may need help tuning in to those answers in their body.
My somatic therapy approach involves helping clients pay attention to their physical sensations, emotions, and thoughts, and using those cues to promote healing and growth. I believe that the mind and body are interconnected, and that addressing physical sensations can be a powerful tool in the therapeutic process.
As a trauma informed therapist, I am sensitive to the unique needs of individuals who have experienced trauma. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences and work towards healing and recovery. As we work together, my goal is to help you become more present with yourself and work towards the future that you want.
